Mark Ferguson Director of Communications

Mark Ferguson is a science communications professional focusing on societal and global issues with tremendous long-term implications. Mark holds a graduate degree in journalism from the University of King’s College, a bachelor degree from the University of Saskatchewan, and specialist training in science communication from the Banff Centre for the Arts. He has worked previously at the Canadian Light Source, Aga Khan Foundation, University of Saskatchewan, and as a journalist with CBC, Saskatoon StarPhoenix, and dozens of magazines and newspapers around the world. Mark helps lead the communications efforts of the GIWS-led Global Water Futures program and the Let's Talk About Water science communication initiative.
