Dan Aburi is a Clinical Psychologist and Research Project Coordinator with experience leading and supporting donor-funded health research programs across Kenya through AMPATH. In his role, he oversees day-to-day research operations, staff coordination, study implementation, stakeholder engagement, and data management activities across multi-site projects focused on mental health, substance use, and community-based interventions.
Dan holds a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Psychology from Moi University. He values collaboration, people-centered leadership, and practical problem-solving in both research and program implementation.
Outside of work, he enjoys deep conversations, mentorship, public speaking, playing badminton, cycling and listening to music.
