Women Plus Water

"My lived experience has been in the management and administration of international waters, seeking cooperation schemes."

Water Experience

I have been working on water issues for more than 27 years, and my experience is in the technical-diplomatic area of water resource management. I am currently the first woman since 1889 to head an international organization dealing with boundaries and waters between Mexico and the United States, which aims to ensure compliance with international agreements. I am committed to supporting the elimination of gender inequality in order to achieve a more egalitarian society.
