"I am committed to visiting the river as often as I write about it"

Water Experience

By age four, I had worn out my rubber boots hunting tadpoles. Since then, I have worn out many boots, acquiring a Bachelor of Science in Freshwater Sciences at UBC and a Masters of Environment and Sustainability at USASK. I have always danced between diciplines (better than I actually dance). From the family ranch to geochemical analysis, to engagement networks and workshops. I have worked in hydrometric and wildlife monitoring, spill response and reclaimation projects, agronomy, integrated computer modelling, and Indigenous community collaborations.

My frontier is the liminal space between science and engineering, traditional knowledge, and the muddy corrals of real life.
