Water Experience
I have a degree in Geology and an MSc in Groundwater and Environmental Geosciences currently undertaking a PhD program on Policy and Strategic Studies. As Director of Planning, Research & Statistics, I overseer the management of hydrological data for the Nigeria Hydrological Services Agency. I have worked in the water sector for over 25 years with the government under the Federal Ministry of Water Reources and Nigeria Hydrological Services Agency. I was employed as a Hydrogeologist to collect, collate, process and disseminate water resources data. I have worked as desk officer for several projects such as formulation of National Borehole Data Inventory and Reporting format for borehole construction, Salinie Water Intrusion Studies, Annual Flood Outlook a publication for flood forecasting for the country. I have also worked as the National Coordinator/Desk Officer for the NB-ITTAS project that included eleven countries, a transboundary aquifer system. I have headed the gender unit of the agency integrating policies for women in hydrology.
