Water Experience
Dr. Barbara is Deputy Chief of Party for USAID’s Water Sanitation and Hygiene Finance 2 (WASH-FIN 2) program, working in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. She has worked previously in various roles for USAID’s WASH-FIN and SUWASA programs, as WASH Specialist at the World Bank, and as Lecturer at Copperbelt University in Zambia. Barbara is co-founder and first Chairperson of the African Women Sanitation Professionals Network, set up to enhance effective engagement and participation of women in WASH decision making and leadership roles. She has set up a Technical School promoting Girls’ education in Science and Technology courses in Zambia.
