Water Experience

Dr Marie Christine A.S holds a PhD in Environmental Science, specializing in onsite sanitation. Sanitation and solid waste project manager, with 7+ years of experience in technical and institutional aspects, Marie Christine Faye is currently working as Project Manager in GGGI. She has 5+ years of experience working with international NGOs and managing teams. She also worked in water, sanitation, environment and engineering consultancy firms in Senegal. She has been involved in projects related to sanitation services, sanitation standards, and strategic and institutional frameworks. She also worked on water and solid waste management projects. She has extensive experience in project implementation, stakeholders’ engagement, working across institutions and partners. Known for an operational approach and dedication, she leverages her sense of responsibility, initiative, and human values to actively contribute to impactful projects in sanitation, water and solid waste sectors. She is interested in the nexus Sanitation and Climate Change.
