Water Experience
As founder of Drink Local Drink Tap and as a social entrepreneur, I have connected education, action/advocacy and physical development work (rural WASH infrastructure and community engagement in Uganda) together. My USA based work in developing educational programming and community engagement activities inspires action to improve both the environmental and humanitarian sides to water. In Uganda, our Uganda mostly female-led team designs, implements and monitors rural WASH projects mostly in schools to reduce poverty, improve girls' access to education and improve the human right to water and sanitation. I participate in water equity advocacy both locally in Cleveland, Ohio and globally in Uganda.
