Water Experience

I have an environmental science and sustainability policy educational background and am the founder and Executive Director of the NGO, Drink Local Drink Tap, since 2010. I've developed teams in two countries. In the USA, I've lead STEM curriculum development, community engagement and advocacy efforts around water equity and environmental stewardship. In Uganda, our organization focuses on last mile communities, mostly in rural schools, to close WASH access gaps in a cultural appropriate, climate resilient way. Our work affects women and girls both through access to STEM education domestically and through improving health outcomes and education in rural Uganda by reducing disease and hygiene issues, especially for girls, who have the burden of carrying heavy, dirty water daily.
