"My lived experience as a woman in Niger, where water scarcity and flooding are daily challenges, drives my commitment to sustainable water management."

"I am committed to bring women’s voices to the forefront and inspire the next generation."

Water Experience

I am a Geosciences and Environmental Sciences researcher specializing in water resource management, currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Institut des Géosciences de l'Environnement (IGE) in collaboration with Niamey's Université Abdou Moumouni (UAM). My research focuses on Niger, where clean water access and extreme events like flooding are critical challenges. By analyzing water dynamics, I aim to inform effective management strategies to address both water scarcity and flooding impacts, improving water security for communities. As a woman in a male-dominated field, I strive to amplify women's voices in policy and inspire young women in my region.
