"I am a PhD researcher in hydrology, focused on the intersection of technical aquifer data and the human necessity for water security."
"My lived experience from field geology at USP to large-scale project management at Arcadis Brazil revealed that water crises are complex, multi-layered challenges. This bridge between field reality and industry practice shapes my pragmatic, solution-oriented approach."
"I am committed to advancing gender equity in water research through active mentorship and by translating complex technical data into accessible strategies that empower diverse communities to face water crises."
Water Experience
I am a PhD researcher specializing in aquifer contamination and water security. Working in the traditionally male-dominated field of hydrology, I recognize that sustainable water management requires diverse perspectives. My experience has taught me that technical research is most effective when it fosters inclusive environments. I advocate for this by mentoring peers and participating in collaborative networks that elevate women’s contributions in science. I challenge the isolation inherent in technical research by actively seeking to connect my findings to community needs. My goal is to ensure that rigorous hydrological data drives equitable, gender-responsive water policies that protect vulnerable populations.
