"I am women-in-water and have promoted affordable surface water and wastewater remediation in a male dominated industry for more than 40 years. I believe that non-biased education of all who will listen is a key component in facilitating my goal."
"My lived experience as a women-in-water has provided me with the challenge of working within a male dominated industry toward my goal in promoting and providing affordable surface water and wastewater remediation and becoming a person that is acknowledged and respected for such."
"I am committed, as a women-in-water person, to continue in the pursuit of my goal in promoting and providing affordable surface water and wastewater remediation to all and to educating on how the process works to facilitate successful outcomes where possible."
Water Experience
For 40+ years I have been promoting natural remediation of surface waters and wastewaters. In surface waters, our equipment promotes a continuous turnover that encourages indigenous organisms to use up the organic matter and nutrients. In livestock waste ponds, it creates a bioliquid fertilizer solution. Women are often responsible for gathering water and for food production, so we are helping women and girls by making their job easier, the water safer, and the livestock waste better for food production. I have done community education of youth on agriculture topics.
