"I am a researcher working on groundwater contamination across India, and my lived experience in a water-stressed context informs my focus on equity. I am committed to generating data-driven insights that highlight gendered vulnerabilities and support inclusive, just water governance."

"My lived experience in water-stressed environments has shaped my understanding of how women disproportionately bear water insecurity. I am committed to integrating scientific modelling with gender-sensitive insights to support equitable access, health, and decision-making in water systems."

"I am committed PhD researcher using remote sensing and AI to map water risks at scale. My lived experience drives me to address inequities in access and exposure. I am committed to building evidence-based frameworks that center vulnerable communities, especially women, in water governance."

Water Experience

My research focuses on groundwater contamination modelling across India using remote sensing, GIS, and machine learning. I map contamination hotspots and exposure risks, particularly in regions where access to safe water is limited. I am especially interested in how water insecurity disproportionately affects women, who often bear the burden of water collection, household management, and health risks from poor water quality. By generating spatially explicit, evidence-based insights, my work aims to support more equitable water governance and targeted interventions that are sensitive to gendered vulnerabilities, bridging scientific analysis with inclusive and community-relevant decision-making.
