Water Experience

Professional civil engineer, project management specialist with 13 years experience designing and implementing water, sanitation and hygiene projects and programs in development. I championed the development of the Uganda Water Pro-poor Strategy that enables low income earners (who are usually women and child headed families) to access piped water on their premises and afford a lifeline quantity per month. I designed an inclusive sanitation facility with an incinerator to ease management of menstrual waste and encourage female learners to attend school throughout the year. I love promoting girl child and female empowerment.
