"I am a true believer in and practitioner of an integrated approach to studying and solving water issues."
"My lived experience of water is a highly priviledged one of pristine lakes, rain, and tap water that I have appreciated and want to share with as many as possible since I was a child, deciding then to dedicate my career to water."
"I am committed to helping various stakeholders dialogue with one another in order to find their shared interests and collaborate towards solving water issues, making water a channel for community-building and peace-making."
Water Experience
I am a Legal Officer who specializes in water governance, water stewardship, and environmental conflict resolution. Before starting my water governance work, I worked for over eight years in the field of water treatment. A long-time supporter of an integrated and collaborative approach to solving complex water issues, I developed my entire career around those principles. Today, my multidisciplinary approach to water allows me to holistically identify and analyze related risks in order to propose multifaceted prevention and mitigation strategies. These strategies build over 18 years of experiences, including evaluating various sustainability programs and leading multiple scientific research projects in the water sector. Rigorous in my data collection and analysis work, I am also experienced in developing pragmatic recommendations to help private and public entities perform more effectively and efficiently, to the benefit of all involved. As a certified mediator, I care for the prevention and resolution of conflicts relating to the use and management of natural resources. I am based in Montreal, Canada, and have worked on projects located in Canada, Western United States, Argentina, Kenya, Barbados, India, and Mexico.
