Women Plus Water

"I am dedicated to leveraging my expertise in project management, communications, and strategic leadership to address global water challenges with equity and sustainability at the forefront."

"My lived experience of growing up in Namibia, a country shaped by water scarcity, has instilled in me a deep understanding of the critical need for sustainable, inclusive, and informed water management practices."

"I am committed to amplifying marginalised and underrepresented voices in shaping sustainable solutions to water resource challenges."

Water Experience

I am a communications and project management professional with over five years of experience in sustainable development. My work focuses on amplifying awareness and fostering collaboration around critical water issues. As Communications Director for the International Water Resources Association, I developed and managed strategies for high-profile events like the World Water Congress, facilitating discussions on water security, governance, and issues. I’ve also supported and implemented impactful campaigns that address water knowledge gaps, including capacity-building initiatives and community engagement projects. Currently, as the Director of the Onewater African Branch, I will lead regional efforts to address water-related challenges, prioritising inclusivity and equity in water use and management. Through partnerships, innovative content creation, and strategic initiatives, I work to ensure that marginalised voices, particularly women, youth, and Indigenous voices are included in dialogues and decision-making processes about water sustainability.
