Women Plus Water

Organizational Website

"I am a woman working in watershed restoration who understands both the power of water and the barriers women face in this field. From my experience, I advocate for inclusive science, community-driven solutions, and research that strengthens the resilience of our waterways."

Water Experience

In my consulting work, I lead watershed-scale stream and wetland restoration projects, including Clean Water Act mitigation banking, to improve hydrology, water quality, and ecosystem resilience. My role advances equitable water outcomes by supporting communities affected by flooding and degraded waterways, while creating space for women scientists and early-career professionals in technical restoration fields. As founder and president of the Vital Habitats Foundation, I collaborate with academic and nonprofit partners to expand research opportunities in stream, wetland, and ecological restoration. Through this work, I promote inclusive leadership, broaden participation in water research, and strengthen community-centered stewardship.
