Water Experience
Having worked for over 30 years on sustainable development, water and sanitation services, and water resources management; gender equality and broader inclusion has always been a goal in itself. Presently with the independent Technical Advisory Panel of the Green Climate Fund, I ensure submitted proposals comply with investment criteria, including contribution to sustainable development and responding to the needs of the recipient. My research has focused on water and sanitation governance, informal markets, public-private partnerships, and ways to include indigenous peoples' concerns and ancestral knowledge into water and environment management. I am based in Sweden and have extensive experience from working in sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia.
