Water Experience
I gained my Graduate Diploma in Environmental Management and Development (2012); and MA. in Natural Hazards and Disasters, Australian National University, Australia (2013). I have over 20 years experience in doing research and development projects in natural disaster mitigation, water governance and climate change response, with a background in international and national scale projects. Skillful in managing projects and research activities at a local level and with disadvantaged people. Gender is a cross-cutting issue in all development projects I lead when working as a leader of Local NGO in Vietnam. We have been working on Gender Impact Assessment on Hydropower Development. We promote the voices of women living along riparian areas in Central Vietnam. Before doing my PhD, I was the member of Mekong Coalition which is an anti-dam platform of NGOs in Mekong region. I was also the member of the Waterkeeper Alliance who aim at protecting water over the world.
