"My lived experience started in highschool learning about environmental science and then getting involved in charitable work to raise funds and awareness for causes I was passionate about. I then stayed within NGOs, and gained further experience in local government and private sectors."

Water Experience

As a youth leader and graduate in environmental science, I have contributed to the water industry in many ways. I have been volunteering with WaterAid Australia since 2021, supporting the fundraising team to deliver funding for WASH projects that involve gender equity and assist communities in PNG, Cambodia, and Timor-leste. I am volunteering at Maribyrnong River and Waterways Association to tackle local environmental issues such as pollution, and promoting the health of the river. I have worked with local council to target industrial pollution in Merri Creek and collaborated with others to find solutions to manage this.
