Water Experience
I am a Senior Sociologist working with the Ministry of Water and Environment, Uganda. I am also pursuing my Masters Degree with a major in Gender. I have worked with the sector for more than 13 years. My work contributes to gender equity as far as water is concerned in that one of my roles is to mainstream gender in water and environment activities.I am also a member of the Women in Water Diplomacy network in the Nile.I am also conducting a research in gender the informal sector. I challenge water issues by ensuring that gender issues are incorporated in water and environment crosscutting policies, guidelines and issues. Also by ensuring that all stakeholders especially the communities actively participate in water resources, water supply and environment issues.
