Women Plus Water

"I am a PhD candidate in hydrogeology, studying groundwater quality and climate change in Burkina Faso."

"My lived experience in a water-scarce region drives my passion for sustainable water management."

"I am committed to advancing research that ensures water security and climate resilience for vulnerable communities."

Water Experience

I am a PhD candidate in hydrogeology, focusing on groundwater quality and climate change in the Sissili sub-basin, Burkina Faso. My research examines seasonal impacts on groundwater availability and contamination, contributing to sustainable water management. Through fieldwork, GIS, and machine learning, I identify groundwater potential zones to support water access for communities. My work directly challenges water scarcity and pollution issues while fostering gender inclusion in climate resilience strategies. As a woman in science, I recognize the importance of gender equity in water research and strive to highlight the role of women in hydrogeology.
