Water Experience
I am a Ph.D. candidate and researcher specializing in water treatment technologies, including my master's work on nitrogen-doped graphene/Metal-Organic Framework (MOF) nanocomposites for removing Cr(VI) from wastewater. With a decade at Ekurhuleni Water Care Company, I contributed to water quality compliance. As a Young Water Professionals Provincial Leader, I mentor women and youth in STEM, advancing gender equity and diversity in water management. My work addresses water challenges by developing innovative solutions, empowering communities, and supporting the UN SDGs, particularly clean water and sanitation while promoting sustainable and inclusive approaches to environmental protection.
