Semi-retired following a career with the Climate Research Division of Environment and Climate Change Canada, focused on the Boreal Ecosystem Research and Monitoring Sites in central Saskatchewan. Served as government co-chair of Fluxnet-Canada (2002-2007) and the Canadian Carbon Program (2007-2011).
