  • land-atmosphere interactions
  • plants, climate, weather, energy

Primary Research

In study how changes in land and surface properties such as changes in vegetation modify fluxes of energy and water between the land surface and the atmosphere, how those changes modify local terrestrial climate, how they modify processes such as cloud formation and moisture transport, and how through driving atmospheric change, they can drive changes in remote and global-scale weather and climate.
