Thesis Description

Mauro's research will attempt to quantify phosphorous in lake sediments throughout Canada, identifying the different phosphourous species present and inferring the internal phosphorous loading. Afterwards, he will search for correlation patterns with regional geology, land use, vegetation, climate and lake characteristics.
