Mohamed holds a PhD in chemistry from the U of S and previously was an NSERC Visiting Fellow with Environment Canada from 2011 - 2014. He is currently working with GIWS member Lee Wilson on research into materials that can be used in water filtration systems for domestic use and wastewater treatment technologies.
