Uri Nachshon

Uri Nachshon's research interest is in salt dynamics in hydrological systems and the feedback interactions between soil properties, evaporation processes, and salt precipitation. Climate and land use change result in changes to hydrological systems, thus changing the spatial distribution of salts and solutes in watersheds. Understanding these processes is important to predicting and coping with future salinization.
