Jaivime Evaristo Receives the Mowat Award

Award

Jaivime's PhD dissertation, Measuring, Understanding and Modeling Ecohydrological Separation, was selected to receive the award from the School of Environment and Sustainability (SENS). The Mowat Award is granted annually to a graduate student whose thesis or project makes an outstanding contribution to the field of environment and sustainability. The thesis or project must also exemplify the values and ideals of the scholarship practiced in SENS - Scholarship that demonstrates expertise and impact.

The Mowat Award is named in honour of the late Canadian author, Farley Mowat, whose novels describing Canada's northern peoples and wildlife received international popular and critical acclaim.
