Abdolreza Bahremand Associate Professor (Visiting Professor)

Watershed Management Department, Gorgan University of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources

Academic Background

Abdolreza obtained his Ph.D. from Free University of Brussels in Engineering (2002-2006) in Brussels, Belgium under Professor florimond De Smedts supervision (Ph.D. promotor). His masters degree and bachelor degree both are from the University of Tehran in Watershed Management Engineering (1991-1997). From 1997 until 2002 he worked three different jobs. Including research at the Iranian main research institute for watershed management and soil conservation in Tehran for two years, later he moved to the provincial natural resource authority in Kerman Province, and worked there as a senior engineer supervising their rain and runoff harvesting projects for two years. He then became a faculty member of the Azad university branch in the province and lectured hydrology and cartography courses for their watershed management department for a year and half.
