Anthony Blair Dreaver Johnston is a member of the Mistawasis Nêhiyawak, and acts as a special advisor for his Nation. He is the great-great-great grandson of Chief Mistawasis and has contributed much to both his home community and the University of Saskatchewan. He is the Indigenous Strategic Advisor for GIWS, the Indigenous Mentor in Residence for the School of the Environment and Sustainability, and Community Engagement Specialist-Indigenous Communities. More recently, he has been granted the title of Professional Affiliate by the College of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. He has an academic background in geography and speaks to the past, present, and future of Mistawasis Nêhiyawak.
