As a research coordinator, Viviana is responsible for daily operations and research facilitation activities. This role involves coordinating the project of the CREATE-FWNET, an inter- and transdisciplinary graduate training program that addresses global food-water security issues. This role allows her to showcase a strong background in organizing and overseeing various project activities.
Viviana is dedicated to delivering high-quality results and driving project success through meticulous planning, strategic execution and collaboration. She has been at GIWS since 2021, and her background includes a biology degree from her home country, Colombia, and a master’s in water security from the University of Saskatchewan.
Viviana values relationships and takes a people-first approach to daily activities. When she is not working, she enjoys the outdoors, playing volleyball, or dancing.
