Congratulations Willemijn!

Last month, Willemijn returned to Wageningen University in the Netherlands to defend her PhD thesis titled “Water redistribution at the soil surface: ponding and surface runoff in flat areas”. Willemijn's thesis presents measurements and model simulations of overland flow generation in flat, well-drained, agricultural areas in temperate climate zones. The thesis was successfully defended before a committee of four researchers from the Netherlands, Germany, and Luxemburg. Congratulations Willemijn!
